Vision controller are compatible with I/O Expansion modules.
There are four ways to integrate them into the system:
Locally,
via an adapter such as the EX-A2x connected to the controller's I/O
Expansion port.
A Vision controller can support up to 8 local I/O Expansion Modules
connected to the I/O Expansion port.
Remotely via CANbus, using an EX-RC1 or EXF-RC15 connected to a controller's CANbus port.
Remotely via Ethernet,
using
Unitronics'
URB UniStream Remote I/O system
Directly to the controller's
I/O Expansion port, using an EX90-DI8-RO8 stand-alone I/O Expansion
module.
Note that only a single EX90-DI8-RO8 can be connected to the controller.
